Safety Culture Alignment Consulting
Whilst company leaders are increasingly recognising the business benefits of moving from a safety compliance focus to integrating safety into mainstream, everyday business activities, the challenge of how to to do this remains. Safety Culture Development works with organisations to help them achieve sustainable business benefits from this alignment.
Safety Culture Workshops and Safety Leadership Workshops
To meet the specific developmental needs of personnel involved directly with safe operations, or where for operational reasons companies are not yet able to have an in-house approach, Safety Culture Development provides the following Public Programs. Note that the programs can also be modified to meet a client’s needs and be facilitated in-house.
About Safety Culture Development
Our experience is that when safety is integrated into all business activities, rather than focusing primarily on compliance, business performance is improved. We work with companies to support them in their move from safety compliance to safety integrity.
Winning Hearts and Minds – Influencing Skills for Workplace Safety Professional Workshops. Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane
Influencing is the ability to achieve an outcome by using interpersonal and communication techniques without apparent use of direct authority.
In today’s workplace, managers, supervisors and employees are expected to take more responsibility for operational safety. For many, this requires a change in thinking from past expectations that the Safety Professional “took care of safety”. To achieve genuine, long lasting change, Safety Professionals must convince workplace personnel to take this personal responsibility because they want to, not because they have to.
This workshop is designed to;
- Fine tune the effectiveness of your preferred influencing style
- Strengthen your non-preferred influencing styles for greater all round influencing
- Develop influencing strategies to use in response to key reasons why people behave the way they do. e.g in change and conflict.
